About Me -Susan Amis,

I am Susan Amis of Streamlined Office Solutions, and my business has been set up to provide Bookkeeping and Professional Administrative and Secretarial support to local companies.  I work from home and I am based in Seaton Delaval covering the North East.  I have almost 20 years' office management and secretarial experience and worked in many different roles. Job titles have included word processor operator, Audio Typist, Medical and Post Graduate Secretary, NHS, Personal Operations Assistant, Procter and Gamble and HR Administrator and Resource Specialist, IBM.

The skills and knowledge I have gained over the years in these various roles whilst employed with the Health Service or multi-national blue chip companies, will enable me to provide a cost-effective and administrative support for a wide range of businesses, including busy executives, professionals and the small trader.

I have considerable knowledge and expertise in:

·       Audio transcription of reports, medical documents, letters, Ethical Committee Minutes and Public Health Reports, Organisation of company day events,  budgeting etc.

·       Word processing over many years, which has included typing up of reports, letters, copy typing, etc

·       Resource specialist including interviewing, and CV screening.

·       Personal assistance at a high level within organisations

I have Higher Foundation Certificates in Business Studies, IT and English language (with Distinction and Credits), Royal Society of Arts (with Distinction) in Shorthand and Typing, various secretarial and computer-related certificates and GCE’s
